my approach

my work reflects community interests and addresses cultural concerns by creating transformative art experiences and practicing accountability in design processes. Holding more than a decade of experience, i take a multimedium approach informed by my expertise in community art, cultural design, and education.

pricing transparency

Pricing for my projects and programs is available on a sliding scale for both individuals and organizations. Specific pricing varies for each offering. General guidance on my pricing scale is outlined below. Reach out to me or refer to an offering's information document for more details.

Reduced

For individuals who can usually meet their basic needs and have some extra money after paying bills, or an organization with a relatively small annual budget and staff.   

Full

For individuals who can comfortably meet their basic needs and have a lot of extra money after paying bills, or an organization with a relatively moderate annual budget and medium-sized staff.

Gift

Strongly encouraged for individuals who can pay full pricing, or organizations with a relatively large annual budgets and large staffs. This amount is intended to redistribute wealth and allow me to work with others at low to no cost.

i am a two-spirit artist and culture bearer who holds more than a decade of experience in collaborating with community.

my creative process envisions what Black liberation and Indigenous sovereignty might look like within and beyond our present reality. Through ancestral craft, community-based art, and culturally responsive design, i take a relational approach to facilitation and learning.

Being a descendant of the Yoruba people and an enrolled member of the Narragansett Indian Tribe, my Black and Indigenous lineages inform my perspective and approach to my work.

i am co-founding member of Blackearth Collective & Lab and Plantain Press Collective.

i am based on my ancestral Narragansett-Niantic homelands with my partner and our child.
